The athletic footwear market share figures for the first quarter of 2015 have been released and it seems that Nike and the Jordan Brand are dominating in the United States. The numbers showed a 62% command from the abovementioned brands, with Sketchers and adidas nabbing 5% of the market total and Asics falling behind with 4%. With all this said and done though, adidas has been securing and dropping killer collaboration after killer collaboration, with the likes of Ye, Pharrell and others yet to be announced. Let’s not call it just yet.
