As a follow-up to the recently-released Low Top version of the shoe, Amsterdam-based footwear label Filling Pieces is releasing a Mid Top iteration of its “Splash” colorway. Inspired by Jackson Pollock’s infamous No.5 1948 painting, the white tanned leather upper is decorated with a multicoloured paint splatter in red, yellow, blue and black hues, offering a unique look on an otherwise clean and classic silhouette. The Filling Pieces Mid Top “Splash” will be limited to 100 pairs, and will be a German exclusive, releasing on May 2 at Shizaru, MRQT, The Listener, BSTN, AFEW and Cromwell.
