After a week of widespread speculation and rumors, Puma has finally confirmed that Kylie Jenner will be their latest brand ambassador.
In case you missed the drama surrounding this signing, Kylie's brother in law Kanye West - who works with Adidas - took to Twitter last week when rumors of the Puma/Kylie deal started floating, tweeting the following:
Despite her brother in law's statements, it's been announced that Kylie has in fact signed with Puma. Adam Petrick, Global Director of Brand and Marketing for Puma, released a statement about the collab:
I am pleased and excited to be able to confirm that PUMA is indeed working with Kylie Jenner. Kylie will be featured in the brand’s Spring/Summer women's training campaign launching in April 2016. Kylie represents a fresh and exciting new era for fashion and we couldn’t think of a more fitting and influential female to headline this campaign for PUMA.
Kylie will join megastar Rihanna - who just held a runway show for her FENTY PUMA collection - to represent the Puma brand. It will be interesting to see if Kylie will be involved with any designs, or whether she'll just model their wares. We'll keep you posted once we hear more.
