In a surprising move, luxury car company Rolls Royce is introducing a car honoring the anniversary of a country. Announced this week, Rolls Royce will be celebrating Singapore’s 50th anniversary with a limited edition Ghost Series II, aptly dubbed the “SG50.” The special car boasts an all-white exterior matched with a red coachline paying homage to the Singaporean flag. Its interior features a dark red leather adorned with Singapore’s iconic Merlion stitched upon the headrests. Additionally, the vehicle’s tread plates are adorned with a sketch of the city’s skyline and the words, ““Hand Built in Goodwood, England for Singapore’s 50th Anniversary.”
According to Rolls Royce’s Asia Pacific regional director Paul Harris, “This SG50 Ghost Series II, a unique celebratory Rolls-Royce, will sit as a timeless masterpiece in a client’s care to reflect on this significant milestone.” No price has been announced, but there are already a few interested customers in sunny Singapore.
