Yohji Yamamoto 2016 Spring Collection

Master tailor Yohji Yamamoto has returned with a twist on his signature Japanese aesthetic for Spring 2016. Yohji’s favorite tropes of deconstruction, patchwork and even the odd unfinished seam are, as always, present, but livened up with the addition of colorful floral prints and stripes. The models’ faces, as with Fall/Winter 2015, have been painted, this time with vibrant stripes in primary colors and a selection of designs straying away from the familiar black palette also feature. Check out the looks above and let us know what you think of the Tokyo-born legend’s latest output.
