Set during the aftermath of the 2010 BP oil spill — the largest accidental marine oil spill in the history of the petroleum industry — Nicholas Cage portrays an idealistic congressman named Colin Pryce who’s career is derailed following a sex scandal that thrusts him into the public eye. In spite of the backlash for his prior transgression, the Louisianan politician gives it everything he’s got against the entire oil lobby because of the negative impact that the spill continues to have on his local community. Connie Nielsen, Peter Fonda and Bryan Batt star alongside Nicholas Cage in a political drama that promises to be enthralling with its event-filled storyline.
