As the digital camera industry continues to evolve, the big players have continued to refine and develop full-frame cameras (those with image sensors equivalent to 35mm) for consumers. The latest industry development comes courtesy of Sony, who has just launched the follow-up to last year’s A7 II – the α7R Ⅱ. To be precise, the camera features a very crispy 42.4 megapixel sensor, allowing it to shoot in exceptionally dim or bright light (ISO 102,400); detect up to 39 different factors during autofocus; and capture 4K video with ease. The body is composed of a rugged magnesium alloy, and of course can be paired with Sony’s near infinite library of interchangeable lenses. Head here to pick up the α7R Ⅱ online now.
