Fresh off the unveiling of its 1TB matte black Xbox One, Microsoft took to E3 today to unveil yet another addition to its flagship console: an “Elite” edition of the Xbox One wireless controller. Due out in the months ahead, the new and improved design sees the addition of four bumpers under the grips while the prototypical D-pad has been replaced with a more precise textured rolling pad. Fans of first-person shooters will also be happy to know the Elite controller boasts hair triggers for faster shooting with the application of little to no pressure. Perhaps best of all? The aforementioned parts can apparently be swapped out for a truly customizable configuration.
The Elite edition of the wireless controller is due out for the Xbox One sometime this fall.
