Ferrari fans will soon have the opportunity to experience just about everything imaginable from the Italian supercar manufacturer at a one-stop shop: Ferrari Land. Basically to Ferrari what Disney World and Disneyland are to Disney, the Ferrari Land theme park will cover more than 800,000 square feet at the PortAventura Resort and feature everything from state-of-the-art F1 simulators to a 367 foot-tall ride that successfully reproduces the g-forces pulled by Ferrari’s F1 drivers during acceleration to speeds around 180 km/h. Ferrari F1 Team Principal Maurizio Arrivalbene and Ferrari F1 team driver Sebastian Vettel recently broke ground on the $112.3 million USD park as part of a special ceremony.
Construction on Ferrari Land — which was originally announced last year — will be completed sometime next year with a grand opening likely to take place shortly thereafter.
