Vancouver-based filmmaker and cinematographer Ben Gulliver presents a dreamy surf film with “Spring Colour.” Set in the raw natural beauty of British Columbia, the short video features black-and-white footage of Canadian surfers Noah Cohen and Peter Devries who glide in their element in slow motion. It’s an impressively expressive film, where Otis Redding’s poignant melody ”That’s How Strong My Love Is” sets the tone for the stirring black-and-white visuals of the Canadian west coast’s soaring eagles, lofty mountains and tumbling waves.
