Photographer Atiba Jefferson documents 20 years of skateboarding in Los Angeles in his latest exhibition entitled “My Los Angeles” at the Oakley In Residence pop-up space on Melrose Avenue. Consisting of a number of historic skate photos dating from the ’90s through most of the past decade, the latest exhibition by Atiba Jefferson captures the rebellious attitude and care-free culture of LA skateboarding as photos of Chad Muska, Paul Rodriguez Jr., and Kareem Campbell comprise the curated exhibition. An Oakley sunglasses pop-up installation complements the photography exhibition as a skate deck mural provides the finishing touch. The Atiba Jefferson “My Los Angeles” exhibition is on display at Oakley In Residence: Los Angeles until May 7.
