Jay Leno drives the 1948 Buick Super Convertible on the latest episode of Jay Leno’s Garage . Found in an old garage in Pennsylvania where it had been sitting for nearly 40 years after being abandoned in the ’70′s, the 1948 Buick Super Convertible sports a classic exterior while boasting 700 horsepower through the addition of the LS9 Supercharger engine from the Corvette ZR1. A custom-fitted chassis supports the vehicle as additional suspensions equip the convertible. Fitted with a modern touch-screen navigation system while maintaining the classic aesthetic of a ’40′s Buick, the convertible features salmon leather seats at the interior cabin as modified Buick wheels finish the model.
