The Seagate Seven is the World's Thinnest Harddrive



A world leader in digital storage solutions, Seagate Technology unveiled the slimmest 500GB hard disk drive, called Seven. The name represents the 7mm depth of the ultra-thin laptop drive, which the enclosure is made entirely of steel. Not only for protection, but it also enables labels and other information to be stamped directly onto the product during manufacture process to avoid extra labels or stickers to be added afterwards. Look for the sleek Seagate Seven to be widely available starting from mid-to-late January for $100 USD.
