Ahead of this year’s 85th International Motor Show, Mitsubishi has teased its latest concept vehicle: the PHEV. Billed by the Japanese conglomerate as “a declaration of intent,” Mitsubishi’s PHEV promises to be a powerful embodiment of the automaker’s next-generation 2WD plug-in hybrid electric technology, as well as a bold design renaissance of sorts as it reimagines the prototypical format of an SUV crossover.
Promising “a smart combination of engineering, fluency with a high-output electric motor, low environmental impact, dynamic agility and athletic design,” Mitsubishi’s PHEV will make its debut this March in Geneva. The 85th International Motor Show kicks off March 5 and runs through March 15.
