Celebrating its recent ASICS “8 Ball” collaboration, Cambridge-based retailer Concepts produces a special shop installation in New York for the occasion. Consisting of a beige suede GEL Lyte V silhouette decorated with red accents, the collaborative release makes reference to the Boston mob as a special pop-up shop alludes to themes of secrecy and underground mob activities. Allowing only one customer inside the shed at a time, the shop features an eye-level slide-out shelf through which a brick-style wrapped package will be exchanged and transacted. Included in the packaging are four different lace options as customers will participate in a unique, interactive retail experience. The Concepts x ASICS “8 Ball” GEL-Lyte V will be available on January 30 at the NYC pop-up and online.
