Strolling around Abeno in Osaka, Japan may lead you to this unsuspecting watering hole called Yorunoma Bar. The establishment was conceptualized and created by a group of young designers who, together with the help of local residents, transformed the small space (21 sqm) into a simple yet captivating bar, reminiscent of an ice cave. The effect was created by plastering the inside walls and ceiling with crumpled tracing paper, while leaving the room as minimal as possible save for two drinking tables and a set of stools. Check out more of the space from the gallery above.
