Thomas Yang Makes Illustrations Using Bicycle Tire Tracks

Singapore-based designer Thomas Yang creates prints of architectural landmarks using bicycle tire tracks. An avid cyclist, Yang unites his passions for cycling and creative arts by producing one-of-a-kind artwork using only the tires of a bike, which is treated with black pigment along the surface rubbers, transforming the tire into a complex brush. Yang has illustrated China’s Forbidden City, London Bridge, the Eiffel Tower, and the Empire State Building using his bicycle tire brush method as part of his ‘100copies‘ project.
