Since its inception in 1976, Apple has steadily grown to be a world-leader in technology and consumer electronics. Making a groundbreaking initial mark in the computer technology industry in 1998, Apple introduced the all-in-one computer, the iMac G3 followed shortly by another signature device, the iPod in 2001, helping to propel the Cupertino-based tech giant into a world industry leader.
