Aesop‘s line of beauty products and fragrances has grown leaps in bounds over the course of the last few years. Many of its international expansions have been well-documented alongside the Australian brand’s penchant for utilizing world renowned designers to craft their in-store experiences. The latest of these venture is also their largest with Aesop Downtown Los Angeles joining the mix. Designed by Brooks + Scarpa Architects, the space is located within the Eastern Columbia building which was originally conceived in 1929. The interior’s design was created in hopes of merging seamlessly with the neighborhood’s own arts district. The utilitarian use of cardboard tubes throughout ensures a casual flow and unpretentious nature to the space while providing ample focus on the product itself.
