San Lorenzo Residence by Mike Jacobs Architecture

Somewhere in the sun-drenched, arid Los Angeles outskirts rests an oasis at the end of a canyon road. It’s here that Mike Jacobs Architecture ambitiously plotted its latest and greatest residential edifice, dubbed the San Lorenzo Residence. Speaking to the tree-blessed surrounding environment, the two-level San Lorenzo is comprised of overlapping two L-shaped structures by a central open living space, adding a sense of security and privacy through its blockage to the surrounding golf course. Steel and glass are the major elements of the facade, allowing natural light and breeze to flow through the home. Elsewhere, a predominantly wooden interior reiterates the exterior foliage. Gardens and pools, enclosed by the ‘L’ shapes, underline the home’s social focus. Enjoy a look through the San Lorenzo Residence above, and head here to learn more about Mike Jacobs Architecture’s work.
